Cinque Terre

I have spent a few days in the beautiful Cinque Terre Area (located in Liguria, Italy).

It is an area of rugged landscapes, with hills falling directly in the sea. On the hills, terraces were built to allow some agricultural activities. Quite a part of the area is covered with vineyards, but there are also many other trees, including olives, lemon, cherries to name a few.

The five villages of the region are Monterosso al Mare, Vernazza, Corniglia, Manarola, and Riomaggiore.

The hiking trails are well maintained but quite steep. Be prepared to climb and descend step after step...

Spring in Zug

I had to take advantage of the beautiful autumn weather we had yesterday and went on a hike in the Entlebuch area. Walking in the moorlands is not easy, but the rewards are well worth it. Stunning views and colorful vegetation have been with us the whole way.

Buenos Aires

It has taken a long time, but I can finally upload a first gallery of pictures taken in Argentina. I will start with the capital city, Buenos Aires.

It is a city with plenty to see, architecturally and culturally. A few examples are below, more can be seen in the gallery.

Here are a few pictures of Air14, an air show - in Payerne, Switzerland - to celebrate 100 years of Swiss Air Force, 50 years of the Patrouille Suisse and 25 years of the PC7 Team. Many international teams as eel as historic planes attended the show. A small selection can be seen below.
